Service Engine Soon/SLIP light

So, I'm fairly new to the G35 community, but,

Today as I turned on my car (it's a manual by the way),
I let it idle, like always, for the RPM to drop. Instead of dropping, the car's engine begins revving by itself. Completely shocked the **** out of me. It normally idles around 900, and it revved to friggin' 2,000 non stop today.

I needed to be some where so I thought if I just drove it off, it'd be back to normal... Reversed out of my drive way, threw it in first, and at the slightest touch to pushing on the gas, my car feels like it almost stalled. Instead, the light "SLIP" and "Sevice Engine Soon" came on, and I was still moving,... my car didn't stall. I was in first gear and it moved about 5 MPH. Pushing on the gas did nothing... I threw it in 2nd, and it moved a bit faster, but I circled around my block and made it to my house.

Turned the car off and on, and everything was fine. SLIP was gone, but the SES light was still there... I figured it was my oil, and when I checked, there was little to no oil in the engine... No leak, no nothing.

So I did an oil change and found out it burned 3 qts of my oil in less than 3,000 miles. Everything's fine so far but, my SES light is still on. What's the problem?

Oh, and I didn't have the VDC light come on. Same situation though? I'll take it into Autozone to check out the codes tomorrow morning. Just hate driving my car with it having ANY lights on....

Get that code read. Also if your burning 3qts every 3K miles that's a no no. First thing that pops up is head gasket. And stop driving that thing.

I've got the code P2135, did some researching and I guess it's the Throttle Positioning Sensor? Each post I look at though, nobody's telling how to fix the problem. Can I do the procedures at home by myself? What would an ECU reset, etc do for the code? Just clear it? ... Lmfao. That's pointless...

Here's the code:
Troubleshooting P2135

Definition:
66TOP sensor circuit range/performance problem - TP1
and
662 signals do not agree.

Probably cause:

661 - Open or short circuit condition.
662 - Poor electrical connection
663 - Failed TP sensor

This should help others who've received the following code... :

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...y-sensors.html

All in all, replacing the throttle body is a must. Guess I've found my solution...

UPDATE:
I guess from my car eating up 3 qts of the oil, ended up in my car in "limp" mode.
After disconnecting and reconnecting the battery the code was gone. I suggest others do the same, that is after replacing your oil if the same thing had happened...

Like I said if your car is going through 3qts in 3k miles something is wrong. Just because you cleared the CEL by disconnecting the batt does not make this issue magically disappear.

Maybe he's found the solution to the oil burning problem.
