Nismo HR headers on DE

I did a search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of nismo headers at a really good price, headers are from an 07-08 nismo vqhr. Would these bolt on directly to my 03 vqde? I'm assuming I would also need the cats from a vqhr as well since I've read that the flanges are bigger on the HR? And would the cats bolt up to my factory exhaust without any modification?

Just ask for a picture or post a picture of the flange. I can send or post a picture of a de flange.
That will give you the answer. I'm pretty sure the cylinder spacing is the same, so exhaust outlet should be the same. let me know if you need measurements, I can mic them for you as well. but I need to know soon, I am scrapping this stuff tomorrow.

Thanks quick, don't think I need pics but if you have measurements that would work.

Venom, if the nismo cats won't fit my factory exhaust, do you or does anyone know what my options are? Def. don't want to go aftermarket, would like to keep everything as close to stock/nismo parts as possible.

If you swap headers and cats they should work, if not explain how the HR y-pipe fits the DE exhaust?
The only other difference could be port size / spacing, get both exhaust gaskets and compare them.

You will need HR cats and they will connect with the rest of the exhaust just fine. HR cats have a different overall length due to the HR manifold, the flange itself is the same, but the manifold->cat angle & position differs from the DE.

HR manifolds (headers) will bolt up to a DE engine. You may need to move one of the studs on the block, but that's pretty straight forward.

Thanks guys i figured everything out a few days ago. Grabbed the nismo header and cat(s) together. An infinity/nissan specialty shop out here will be installing everything. Also have an an upper and lower plenum on order as well. Hope to have everything installed in a few weeks. researching tuning options, plan to have the shop tune the car before the end of summer.
