Thank You!!! If you don't mind me asking do you know why it happened? Was it to cold outside? It was freezing here today...Or was the bolt just too tight? I wasn't even able to continue with the install because the midway bolt on the G tube snapped in half as well...All that and no damn Z tube sound...lol
Wow, that stinks!!
You must have been using way too much torque on those bolts. Can you describe the tool you used? (model, etc)
I would bite the bullet and take it to a local shop. Some shops are real good at removing stuck bolts, I had a few siezed bolts (with self stripped heads) removed by my local dealer (off my Maxima). I just bought new bolts in advance, handed them to mechanic, and said "good luck"
Sometimes when you make a mistake like this, it's best to cut your losses and have it fixed (as opposed to possibly breaking your plenum)
Good luck!

When my friend installed the ztube n popcharger combo on my car, he destroyed all four of my bolts and I pretty much didnt have a cover on my engine. I took it to a car shop and its quite a simple job. They unscrewed the bolts stuck in the plenum, put the cover back on top, and put new screws in. Dont sweat it.
G35Tuning,
Ok......so it sounds like You didn't blow it........it just blew!!!!!!!!
Maybe some Gorilla at the factory was having a bad day and torqued your bolts down.
Cacca Occurs! Sometimes you just get skewered!
Go to a shop and they will just take a drill with an easy out, and drill the broken bolts.
Remember....

Here is a thread on my350z for what happened to me when i overtightened a screw too hard and broke it in half. I was able to get it out with a screw-extractor. Read all about it here:

G35tuning,
is any part of the bolt sticking out over the plenum?? Id try vice grips seeing as the bolt head is already gone...u can try using vice grips to 'turn loose' whats remaining, UNLESS of course the bolt is stuck down in the hole. The plenum spacer install also requires removing 2 bolts w/ threads that have no 'head' so to speak. i placed 2 nuts onto the screw sticking out. I unscrewed the lower nut until it met the one above it and after a while unscrewing the lower nut caused to bolt to start turning and eventually came loose. But this is all hypothetical as I dont know the entire situation...

What's this righty and lefty thing? How do you turn something to the right or the left? It's clockwise - tighten and counterclockwise -loosen (unless you have a left handed thread). You guys sound like my wife... geesh.
