Small oil leak under 2003 g35 sedan

This is my first post to this forum so I apolgize for any mistakes, but I’ve been noticing a small oil leak under my g after I had gotten an oil change at kwik kar due to me being lazy and dumb. I had driven the car a little hard one night and the next morning is when I noticed the oil leak, it seems to be coming from the front of my oil pan. I’m thinking it might be a crush washer but I can’t be sure as I am very new to working on cars. I apologize for the bad angle I’m currently working without a jack, I also have a video of it but I’m not sure how to post.

Front and rear cameras, tire pressure for all four tires can display on screen, folding side view mir
Have you checked for any loose bolts on the oil pan? I believe they are 10mm so check them all with your socket wrench.Do not over tighten. I never heard of kwik kar but perhaps Jiffy Lube had to change their name after screwing so many car owners? Perhaps kwik kar did not properly tighten your oil drain plug which Jiffy Lube was known for.

Thank you, yeah I'm pretty sure thats what it is. I saw a tiny bit of white smoke coming up from the back of the motor after i popped the hood and kinda panicked thinking i could've cooked a valve cover gasket or something worse but this seems way more probable considering theres no oil in the engine bay or smoke coming out of the exhaust. The exhaust is probably just burning off whatever oil dripped on it.

They probably didn't replace the crush washer like they're supposed to every time you remove the drain plug. Also possible they didn't tighten the oil filter properly or they maybe double gasketed the oil filter. I would take it back so they can look under it or just do it yourself so you don't have a double gasket blowout on the highway or something.

It'd help to clean up all traces of oil and check on it thr next day see if you can find the source. Don't count out the valve cover. Some areas of the valve cover can be hard to see. I've had a valve cover leak for thousands of miles that drips on the exhaust manifold only when I push the car hard, which would be the puffs of smoke you're seeing
