Installed my Jdm battery cover and came out nice and clean (pics)

Installed my Jdm battery cover and came out nice and clean (pics)


I just had to trim about a 1/4 of a inch from the left side of the cover and it sits almost perfect for it being something you have to shave and or modify.

yeah I had the car 3 years and kept meaning to get it and never did cause I was always getting other things and hat didn’t seem as important and I finally picked it up today so I’m late in the game on it, lol...better late then never I guess

Is this an aftermarket part? My car came with it and I always thought it was original. If so, how does the original cover look?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
There is no original cover there, it's just a big, ugly hole. It's a factory piece for the Skyline overseas. The engine bay is reversed due to the RHD set-up.

yeah it just does not come with a cover on the brake reservoir side as you can see here

its just crazy that infiniti didn’t have this as a oem item that came on car like battery side just to have a cover to keep that area clean brake components wise

The issue I see is people might be more inclined to just ignore brake and clutch fluid levels. I'm not aware of ANY vehicles with covered brake reservoirs from the factory?

very true didn’t think about it that way. There are those type of People as I am one that does pay attention. Good note on that one though!

off the top of my head the 350z came with covers.

I've no idea what year/model the OP's car is but my '08 G35X has a cover over the brake master cylinder (just like the battery).
