what the hell jus happened? lol
Opened my car door and the handle came off and the lock came out(cylindrical piece).
Anybody know how this can be fixed and what part I need to buy?

Can't help you here, all I can say is lay off the roidz..

 

^^LOL. I'm assuming bc I live in SoCal, but the plastic can freeze and snap off like it did. Call your local infiniti and ask if you can just install a new handle or if you'll need a whole new door:/ Either one can be found on part-out cars on CL or under private classifieds here for much cheaper than what the dealer will charge u. yea i can actually lock/unlock the door and open it with the latch thats left. It act just like a handle. But Imma ask my mechanic asap and see what he can do. Don't want my g35 coupe to turn into the ratchet mobile.

That sucks. You should easily be able to find a replacement on ebay. There is also a DIY here on how to remove.

 

I'm sure you can buy just the handle check tomorrow when the dealer is open

lol I didn't even open it hard. I had just opened it like 5 min before with no probs. I think it was just ready to break plus it was cold. Anyway, I ended up getting the handle off of infinitipartsusa. Hopefully it'll be the only thing I needed.

 

Happens to muranos all the time. Chances are that's all you'll need.
