Tranny or engine sensor issue?

2006 G35 with 155k miles automatic transmission. Engine idles great, revs great and quickly, accelerates well under moderate to hard acceleration. Under WOT condition while cruising it feels like the transmission or engine sputters while still pulling hard. Haven’t had codes pulled yet but will to,orrow. Any indication what to expect? Have recently changed the oil, oil filter, Driver side cam positioning sensor and crankshaft positioning sensor. The issue is the same pre and post the above maintenance.

Sputters are usually an indicator of an ignition problem (coil pack, spark plugs, etc) or Mass AirFlow Sensor sometimes. Pull the codes and see what they say.

Code indicated cyclinder 5 misfire. Changed the coil pack and fuel injector on #5 and new plugs all around, cleaned throttle body and verified MAF sensor appears to be good. Same sputtering but now at idle too. I made it worse.

Will take it to get the codes tmo after an attempt at ECU reset (manual process) this evening.
