check engine light after storage

Hey All

Im just about ready to take my car out of storage. I reconnect the battery and go to start it after doing all the maintenance and.....starter is done! after just a couple of attempts the check engine light starts
to flash and then stop. Im confused because there is no way that engine has misfired so could it be something else? I also always run my scan tool through the cars computer just to make sure everthing
is ok before storage.

Any help would be great

So what diagnostic trouble code did you find when you scanned the car?

Might just be a discharged battery. Charge it up or replace it and try again. If the battery wasnt on a trickle charger in storage it's probably shot.
