Anyone have any idea about a stalling issue when going slow like under 20mph like in stop and go traffic or making a turn after letting go of the gas? i am getting so disgusted that no one can fix this issue yet. its literally been over a year now maybe even close to 2. Its seems to not happen much once the weather turns colder. basicaly the rpm dip so low after letting offf the gas it just stalls out. sometimes it comes up and doesnt stall. if i time it right and see it might happen i usually gas it and then it wont stall. but when it happens it stalls out all the dash lights come in and the car just glides until i stop or runs out of steam i can kinda turn but its super hard to do but usually can manage to park in a spot as it happens a lot when im going into a parking lot. i can usuually get it to attepmpt to at least dip the rpm if im like at a stop light and then gas it and if im turning into a parking lot right away kinda thing. ive also gotten it to stall if im backing out of a spot and give it some gas. id probably say if it shifts into 2nd gear im probably ok it wont do it so thats why i say its like going slow under 20 or maybe 25 and under range.


my main mechanic told me it was the throttle bodies which were cleaned multiple times and its not, then i had an o2 sensor replaced as they said it was probably that. this was last year prob. another mobile guy that ive been dealing wtih for like the past 6 months now told me it was the cats. i replaced one and it was still happening then hes like you need to replace the other its the air flow issue that will do it. i did the second one a month and nope. then he tells me my tranny is shot. was getting codes for torque convertor and something else so its a bad torque convertor. i had the tranny replaced with a used one about 15 months ago. been having check engine lights for a while now go on and off or get reset because of another issue with my battery terminal. i took it to my tranny guy a couple months ago (before I did the 2nd cat) and he said the tranny is fine. its shitfing nicely, the fluid is about just as good as when they replaced it etc. there was old codes in there from before something with the shifter and another one or two but he said nothing would make it stall like im having. told me to get the other cat replaced and bring it back if check engine came back on but it it only came on once since then and got reset because the battery issue.

back in beginning of june I did have it checked at advance auto parts and it came up with a code p0732 and p1815. so i guess those are tranny codes and thats what the mobile guy was talkinga bout my gear 2 was shot. but they never came on again after that and it was reset before i brought it to the tranny guy becuse of the battery terminal. tranny guy said he checked and found no active codes but said there was old ones in there and i believe those are old codes so i dunno. everything seems fine as far as shifting and what not.


i just had the other mobile guy come back while i was on vacation a few days ago. he fixed the battery issue. it was a bad terminal and said he almost gaurantees it was that causing the stalling. i said to my self i guarantee its not that because the terminal hasnt been bad for that long and it was doing it way way before that and its not something that would happen because of a bad terminal. my brother was dealing with him and i said make sure to really try it out to get it to stall. said they couldnt at all.
i just got back from vacation last night took it in town a little while ago and not even 10 min driving i got it to stall twice. i went to autozone because i start it and my check engine is one. dunno why he didnt check that last week. so turning into autozone lot it stalled and then again when i left on the main road when i had to stop at a light.

anyway i got the code checked today from autozone and its a p0603 powertain control module keep alive memory (kam) error. so i havent gotten that one yet i dont think. though i think either mobile guy or tranny guy did mention a computer code and they reset it but maybe this is the stalling issue i dunno? i just want this fixed.
