2011 infiniti g25 engine into a 2004 G35????

Is it possible to put a 2011 g25 engine into a 2004 G35??? I got a 04 G35. I blew my engine.. was curious if I can put a g25 engine in my g35??? And help is appreciated

Anything is possible, but that would be a tremendously complicated swap for a pointless outcome. Basically...no.

The engine in your 2004 is the VQ35DE with the Jatco RE5R05A transmission making roughly 280 bhp

The engine in the 2011 G25 is the VQ25HR with the Jatco JR710E transmission making roughly 220 bhp.

I'm not saying it CAN'T be done but it's not a direct bolt-on replacement. You would need engine/transmission/wiring harness and I don't think your CAN system is compatible with that newer motor.

Probably be cheaper to do an LS swap.
