Do you have all the spark plugs in? Remove them so you aren't fighting compression and try it.

Did you try turning the motor by hand BEFORE you installed it to make sure it wasn't a seized motor?

Yes the motor will rotate without the transmission mounted I’ve never had this many problems with a car and I’m stumped

Ok then I suspect one of two things happened:

6MT flywheel was used instead of the 5AT flex plate, not sure if it's even possible though.

Or

6MT pilot bushing was on the crankshaft and you need the 5AT pilot bushing. You can verify from your parts kit about which pilot bushing you used.

Torque converter not on properly. When installing the torque converter it will go in half way and it takes a little wiggling to get the slots to go into the drive pump for it to seat all of the way in. It should be 25mm or about 1" from the bellhouse face to the flexplate mounting holes.

If it was installed this way it will bind and lock up like you said, but could also have damaged other things if the bellhouse bolts were completely tightened.

That is the only problem I have seen with a Automatic and binding issue over the years.
