Gear oil burning smell

Hello I have G35 06 6speed Manual and it’s leaking oil from the back of the transmission near the driveshaft smells like gear oil but looks like motor oil. Anyone else experience a Transmission leak with this Car before? Clutch was just changed out.

If its leaking out where the driveshaft is on the trans, my guess would be the tailshaft seal is bad

Wipe it all down good so everything is nice and clean, go for a short drive, then get it back up on stands/lift and look to see what's leaking.

Really good chance they damaged the output shaft seal when putting the driveshaft back in, fortunately it's an easy fix but since it happened right after your clutch job I would make the shop that did the work fix it for free labor but you pay the cost of the seal.
