Help! Car dies randomly, complete loss of electricity

Need help diagnosing an issue....

Car dies sometimes right when i'm pulling out of the driveway
  • complete loss of power / electricity (no lights, dash, nothing!)
  • literally no electricity, then after a few minutes, it will start right back again
  • battery just replaced bc i thought that was the problem
    • this seemed to help for a few weeks until the problem happened again
  • no codes stored
  • fusible link at battery appears ok
Can this be caused by a bad alternator? I read that an alternator going out will not cause loss of all electric, since the battery would still be supplying the accessories...

Check the battery voltage when it dies - Should ~12.6 volts minimum

Check the battery cables, both (+) and (-), as well as the other electrical connections for rust or corrosion.

Check BOTH ENDS of the cables, something is coming loose.

Appears ok is not an acceptable answer

Use your multi-meter to test when the car dies to test at the battery and fusible link
It is only battery (positive) and ground (negative)

Loose or defective cables, corrosion?
