G35 Sedan with a 2006 RevUp
ECU Questions!

Hi all,
Nice to be here! I've been lurking for a bit, so it's good to actually be around.
I have a 2003 G35 5AT Sedan with a 2006 RevUp engine in it. I eventually want to get the car tuned but I know that the 2003 ECU isn't really an option for tuning. I've come across some recommendations for how to get the car tunable, one of which is a Greddy EManage Ultimate setup.
My question is, what is the easiest/least wiring required way to get one of these cars tuned? i.e., ECU swap, EMS, piggyback, etc.
I have very little experience/understanding of this side of things and a lot of the threads I've come across have a lot more info than I can really handle.
Thanks for any help on this!!

Have you looked at the actual ECU and checked which one you have? Only SOME of the 03 sedans are untuneable.

Mine has the top one, single plug.

Is there any sort of piggyback that would allow this ECU to be tuned? Or could an ECU swap happen?
I really want to get this thing tuned at some point, I was hoping for it to be my project daily.

I know it would be easier, but are there any options?

Sure,, there are always options, but it's serious money. Haltech, Holly, and others make aftermarket ECUs. But you could easily spend 2 thousand on the computer.

That's fine by me. I really want to keep this car as long as possible/until I can trade for something I'd love.

Are there any resources as to how to ECU swap/where to get them, etc.? Would it have to be custom wired, or is there a plug and play solution? (Regardless of price)

Find a newer wrecked G35 with the same chassis options and swap everything over.

Probably find one for around $1k or so, preferrably with a blown up engine/trans and a lot of body damage to bring the price down.
