Got a 07 revup. Originally I wanted to rebuild the whole engine for FI, but now I'm thinking just the heads and then get another block to build for turbo and swap it over. Done some engine work, swapped engine and did rebuild another engine but this my first v6. Building for turbo, I've read that the stock cams can be used for up to 700 whp but I think I'll still pick up a set of jwc cams. If I do decide to do the cams I know I have to replace the springs and retainers. Can I still use the same valves? Is their a difference in using different valves besides being forged stronger? Also I've read somewhere that vq heads shouldn't be machined at all and instead replaced if past tolerance. If someone has some useful tips or a great guide for information I'd really appreciate it, ty
