Most will becaues they are made of steel. So if the surface paint is either chipped, scraped or worned out (at the bushing area) ... they will rust!

This below is about the 350evo bars...Same deal or no?

The bars are manufactured using cold formed, high strength aircraft grade steel for precise performance. They are powder coated for a beautiful finish that lasts

Sorry for not being clear ...

Regardless of grade ... if it's steel ... it will eventually rust (especially in the presence of salt). Even stainless-steel will rust, but that's a whole another story. Most bars are also powder coated, but that does not prevent from it getting rock chipped or ground scrapes. The area in contact by bushings will most definitely be worn through eventually.

However, before I scare you silly ... the rusting issue is generally not of major oncern. The bars are quite thick and can handle most minor superficail rusting for years to come. Just keep an eye on it once in a while to besure it's not about to snap (rare).

Good advice, i do have a question though...
Arent the stock sways steel as well? Arent they prone to rust as well?
Luckily we have the 7 year-unlimited mile rust protection warranty, right?
