Yes it will. I've installed one in g8tor20's 2005 G35 coupe and it fit just fine.

Can't hurt. Just make sure that it doesn't rub against any AC lines. It normally won't in the '03-'04s, but I haven't seen one in an '05 yet. I'f Neff says it'll fit I'm sure it'll be fine though.

My theory is that the only difference between the 2005 350Z Anniversery/Track 300 HP engine and our 2005 G35 6MT Coupe engine is the resonator in the air tube.

So, replacing the resonator with the Z-tube should make it a nice, even 2 HP. Which no one will be able to feel any difference, and even an engine dyno might have trouble noticing and discerning the difference.

It will give you exaclty 1.9 hp....so you can't get 300 hp.

Just kidding..Although they don't give you large gains, the z-tube will help the engine breath a little better. Like caelric said..the resonator can free up some hp due to a better flow of air from the z-tube.

Anyone know where the best deal to get one is? I am interested in the Z Tube for my girlfriends '05 Laser Red (5AT) Loaded Coupe along with the JWT Pop Charger from my old '03 Brilliant Silver (5AT). I have heard that this is a good/popular combination, any thoughts? I will also be putting installing my NISMO Weldina exhaust system on her car, even though she doesn't want it, since it didn't sell on eBay. Thanks.

I just put the Z Tube on my 05, and it made it sound a lot nicer. Quick blips of the throttle sound much meaner, and the sound from the engine is slightly louder with the tube at higher RPM's. Now don't expect it to be super loud and deep as if you were adding a full aftermarket intake. It still has a stock sound, just a little throatier and a bit louder, but not much.

As far as power gains go, nothing noticable, probably more in your head than anything, or maybe just all in mine...

I have one in my garage, waiting for this weekend to do the install. I'll let you know how it goes.

Easy install on the Crawford Plenum, much easier than the Stillen Engine Damper Brace that I did at the same time, better instructions, as well.

I think the plenum really helped the high end, and maybe some bottom end as well. Definitely worth it.

Probably Grubbs or Performance Nissan. If I lived in Michigan I'd run the z-tube and P/C without a doubt.
