Im experiencing burning smell in the AC vent if i have turn on the heat, without the A/C being on?
Its a really strong burning plastic smell. what could be the cause to this?If i just use the Auto function there is no smell, but the smell comes up if i click the AC button to turn the AC pump off?!!?

Do you guys have any input?

 

alot of member's have the same prob. including myself...run a search on burning smell and you'll see what i mean

 

yea i have found those post...but there arent any solutions to it

 

I had my burning smell at around 1000 miles. After that it just went away...

 

There was a burning smell coming from my vents too! I thought it was my car but thankfuly it was just my house burning down.

WHEW, that smell scared me for a second!

 

^^ LOL, I get it too, and no house burning down here I hope it's normal as I've had it since I bought the car.

 

So there isnt any solutions to this... or the story behind this mysterious burning smell?
