Borla exhaust with headers
Hey I was thinking about changing my stock exhaust with borla headers and the whole exhaust system borla. Does anyone have any idea on the performance change or have actually experienced the difference b/w the stock and borla. I shouldn't have any problems switching the whole system should I? Like no O2 out of wack or anything like that?
exhaust
I currently have the Crawford high flow cats and Borla SS TD Cat Back. I love this set up. Sounds great (IMO) and love the performance. I am currently seeking headers (prefer the Crawford ones). Regards, bunnone.

Was checking out your mods and mine will match yours very close. I may be doing things a little different from you. Starting with Crawford headers, Cats, And there plenum. IM holding back on the Borla's tell after I know the outcome. What are your thoughts on the Borla's as far as low end power and how loud are they? The headers and cats showed up today. Thanks Dennis

Neff,
Interesting dyno results. I did the exhaust and h/f cats (crawford) simultaneously. Haven't dynoed the car. I think it sounds great. Not much louder than stock. Have heard some that I wouldn't want on my car. 2rwhp is anemic but I had seen other dynos with the borla having higher. Can't explain the 2 number and haven't dynoed mine to compare.

I had borla exhaust and headers. The performance gain is great! But it make more of a difference if the intak is upgraded as well.
But not only that. The sound is awesome! It's the best feeling in the world when you're sitting there with the pedal to the metal. Just sounds awesome! I would definitely recommend it!

Neff, what intake did he have? The Borla was #2 for gains in the exhaust shootout last year, second only to the Stillen. How many runs were done before and after the install? When were they done? Dyno days are only truly imporant if you tune all on the same day, hehe.
