My final 'run in' with V6p.net

Some of you may find this interesting, most of you probably won't care, but I feel, in the interest of the VQ35 community, I should share this.

Last night I got a topic notification email from v6performance.net from a guy who said he was interested to know the gains of the Unichip on a VQ35.

I responded (although I did fail to mention that I am having one installed as I type) and I mentioned the luck that some VQ owners have had (I was referring to: https://g35driver.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47785)

In my oppinion I did not badmouth the Unichip, I just spoke from what I had read on the forums (like I do 99% of the time). This morning I got another thread topic notification and it seems I have been banned from the site, for speaking out against a product that they sell.

I just want to warn all the people who may be members there, that they are TRUELY out to sell products, and obviously they don't even care if they work or not. You would think, if they are going to try and promote the Unichip for the VQ that they would be interested to know test results. But, no, they don't care, as the test results will truely hurt their profits.

I'm sure at least one of my fellow VQ35 owners will check out the thread and try to set them straight and warn other VQ35 owners of the poor performance gain from the Unichip:

Oh, and I DID mention that on an FI car that Unichip might be beneficial.

Who was it that you spoke w/ about it? I post there once in a while, but I find the forum very boring.

Straight from their website...
Occasionally we get certain so-called V6P members whose main purpose is to self-promote their own websites, while also attempting to discredit certain performance products they have no knowledge of. . .

I encourage everyone interested in ECU enhancers to do the homework yourself and thoroughly review the performance packages each type of manufacturer provides. ECU enhancing and performance chip manufacturers are constantly refining their programming as the technologies improve. The main key to improving these processes is to provide the manufacturer feedback. Unfortunately, some people elect to whine and complain to others without working with the manufacturers.

Our V6P crew worked with several reputable aft-mkt manufacturers in making new v6 products for our members, a successful track record to prove it.

If there are certain v6 products you truly want and you would like us to negotiate in your behalf, just let us know.

Cheers,
Maurice
Geesh Kevin,

Quit whining!

Just when you think that company can't shoot it self in the foot any more then they already have, they pull out a bigger gun and do it again. Oh and I was soo close to buying one too,.........NOT.

Yeah Kevin - quit whining that you might get stuck with a worthless toaster for a plug in that does nothing and costs 895 bucks. How about test it and then put in the hands of the consumer after raping them for 900 bucks. Can you say money hungry abortion. Ken Lay has more credibilty.

They deleted all my posts, but I basically said the same thing as ItzAllGood...

Maurice (V6PMoMoney) is the one that banned me (I would imagine)

He is also the one who claims they don't 'do it for the money.' Haha
