BTW, my post above refers to mods in ADDITION to the items you already mentioned: CAI, exhaust... I don't want anyone to think I meant ECU and AT valve body is all you need...

I installed the 3/8" Motordyne Plenum Spacer. The 03-04s benefit greatly in low end power with this mod! Some with the 05s claim to not get such a boost. I highly recommend. I really feel the low end torque and HP. There are many dynos that show a consistent 10 HP gain and torque gains across the powerband.

Rear gears. The wonders of multiplication.... 3.9/1 instead of 3.3/1 will give a good kick in the pants.
Yes it'll cost an mpg or 2 but more quickness is the key here.

It improves torque by increasing intake runner velocity, I will testify to that. Next is the resonated test pipes. They phuckin kick **** with the stillen exhaust. Major increase in power, but I had to cut out the stillen 14" resonators and install 24" glasspacks to tone it down. Phuckin' loud! Now it just knocks my head back without the earache. Heeeheeee! My girlfriend scared the **** out of me as a designated driver last weekend. And I dont get scared easily. Filipinas are crazy man.
I want to see proof that test pipes actually add torque without using forced induction. To my knowledge, they will hurt your low-end power without forced induction.

Your lag in the 5AT will be eliminated after you install the GroundingGear 10 wire kit.

If you want torque, get some pullies. All you need, for some semi-cheap torque you can actually feel.

I've always been interested in pullies. However, I have heard that you don't need all of them.

I seem to recall that someone said you only need a couple of the pullies that come with the kit.

Anyone else hear this?

Will pullies put me at a greater risk of losing my warranty?

Sure. It really depends on your dealer though. If they have a keen eye, spotting aftermarket pullies is very easy. If you have some sort of engine or mechanical failure on or within the engine, having pullies makes it far easier for them to attribute the failer to the pulley/pullies. Since most aftermarket crank pullies remove the OEM crank damper, you make it really easy for them.

Me neither, but it's happened in other threads... there is a huge one regarding pulleys that went on forever!!! And no, I wasn't a part of it - just wanted to gather info 'cause I was considering getting them. I didn't realize what a controversy it was (until I read). BTW, I didn't mean you two will debate, I just meant the issue will probably be debated (by whomever) as it has before

No debating here from me either. What's been said has been said concerning UDPs and removal of the OEM damper.

The point I'm making is that if you have failure with your tensioner, A/C compressor, or powersteering pump, it's makes it really easy for Infiniti to say that underdriving the components is what caused the failure even though most of us know that would be BS. The problem is they're the dealership and they'll do what they want to do. If they can get out of warranty work, they will. There's just not much profit in it. Also, if the dealership were to warranty the work and they noted that UDPs were installed, Nissan Corporate might not reimburse them for the work. The dealerships don't want to take the risk of working for free.
