Can I run a stock exhaust with crawford plenum, headers and cats or is it pointless?

My question is I want to get the crawford plenum, headers, and cats but dont really want to add an aftermarket exhaust. i havent been empressed with the sound on any of them. Is it possible to add all of those and keep the stock exhaust or is it just not worth it? Thanks in advance.

I would say this:

You are bound to have some gains. However, I would think that the gains would be minimized by your stock exhaust.

Not exactly true young grasshopper.

Myself and Maximumzsport (Chris) went to the 2nd CFL dyno day and we both dynoed along with a dozen or so other G's and Z's.

His car, 2004-350z, 6mt - (z-tube comes stock), Crawford Plenum, Crawford Headers, Crawford H/F Cats and an injen exhaust.

My car, 2004.5-G35C, 6mt - z-tube, Crawford Plenum, Crawford Headers, Crawford H/F Cats and a JIC Y-Pipe.

He dynoed 0.2 rwhp more than me with the dual exhaust and the dyno charts were identical throughout the entire rpm band. Keep in mind that I had the stock mid pipe and the stock muffler.

Every since the dyno day I've called Chris "two-tenths".

Make that three, inquiring minds want to know Honestly, it's better for people to ask too much than to overspend on useless stuff if you ask me..

Is one of these exhausts supposed to be stock? To me, it looks like somebody has an aftermarket Y-pipe

I kept my stock exhaust when I had the complete Crawford Package (You're welcome again Todd!). I dyno'd at 380 rwhp with the stock exhaust. I've heard many different people say the stock exhaust is very well designed, and almost perfect for the car.

Well... point being that the midpipe and muffler are STOCK and didn't do Chris squat!

I've gone on record saying that the y-pipe didn't do squat for me after I had the z-tube, plenum and cats, but everyone and their brother knows someone who gained 11rwhp, 13rwhp or 20rwhp with one... Definitely not my experience.
