HIDs draw more initial current, so you may need a larger fuse than a 10A one.
Also, the stock wiring may or may not be able to handle that kind of a load over long periods of on/off cycles.

You hit the nail on the head, the fuse went out for my aftermarket HID's. I switched to a 15A which is what the stock low beams use and now it works fine.. I am a little worried about the wiring but its one or the other.. have the fuse go out at 10A or go with the 15A.

If that's not the problem you might check three 10 amp fuses #1, #6 & #18 in Fuse Block J/B (behind the drivers side kick panel). As a final step you might check 50 amp fusible link "F" in the Fusible Link and Fuse Block (in front of the battery). Note: Some of these fuses also serve double duty for the headlights.
Thanks, it was two of the 10A fuses at the IPDM E/R that fixed the problem.

At this point you might as well go with the 15A fuse as what you're doing, and hope for the best. It's not worth the trouble to mess with your wiring again.

I actually had one before, it was the HID kit that Alan sells on this site.. I forget the name but wiring it up wasn't too bad. The only problem I had was the passenger side headlight would not turn off so I had to completely disconnect the kit.
