i having a hard time locating the fuel filter, does anybody know where it is at? thanks. i drive a 03 sedan 6mt,chip,stilllen cat back,grounding.

 

It is located in the fuel tank and does not need to be serviced until 100,000 miles.

 

i pulled my back seat up yesterday and pulled out both of the caps that cover the tank, the drivers side only had a fuel level indicator, so i pulled the passeger side and found the fuel pump and level indicator, there was a small filter at the end of the pump, but i dont think this is the right filter. i bought a fuel filter for my car and it looks like its an inline filter and bolts inbetween the fuel rails. do i have the right filter? did i over look or miss the filter when i pulled the covers from the tank? help.
