what brand is good for springs? should i get coilovers?

 

Tein Flex with EDFC if you plan to race the car on a road track...if not, just Tein Flex

 

Nguyen if you want to keep it under 3K i'm thinking rims then get some springs...The rims with tires alone will be about 2k+....springs depending on how much of a drop you want you can go with the Tein S-techs for the G35 or the Tein H-techs for the 350z. The S-techs will be lower.....whereas the H-techs won't.....Coilovers would be ideal but the price starts around $750...and I think with your budget it might be over....Hope this helps...

definitely rims + springs unless u have the stock 18s/19s and dont mine sticking wit it for a while

 

a nice set of wheels & tires is gonna take up the whole budget, but if you have anything left a set of h-tech for the 350z will complement them well
