How to Clean MAF ???
How to Clean MAF ???
I am using a Pop-Charger and I think I over-oiled it last time I cleaned it out and might have dirtied the MAF sensor. My mileage is not too hot, but I am not sure.
How do I check if the MAF sensor got dirty, and if it is dirty, how do I clean it without damaging it?
Thanks.

The MAF is extremely delicate. Someone here said he cleaned it successfully with Windex (must have been watching a lot of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'
). Others have used alcohol and a careful cue-tip.
Personally, I'd try one of the non-residue electrical contact cleaner sprays.

I've used contact cleaner on one of my previous vehicles which would be available at most hardware/auto stores. It comes in a spray can. Unless it's very bad, I would try and avoid touching it yourself with a q-tip alcohol solution. As Gordgee says, it's extremely delicate and over $200 to replace.
