didn't the topic ask if there were any races w/ the g? i just shared my experience and you make it seem as if i was bashing it. you need to have thicker skin because no car is invincible. there's always a bigger fish and if you can't handle hearing a loss, i don't know what to tell you.

and if it matters, the g is a nice car. my brother has one. it's way too tense up in here.

 

I am not phased, you were the one who was upset, really I don't think you are reading my posts, I never said the G should be faster. Of course there are always bigger fish in the sea. I made one comment about value and that's how far you took it.

alright guys.. no need for bickering about who's car is faster.. we all have very respectable cars. I have a G, but i wouldn't mind having an AMG or M3 in my garage too.. those who are blessed with either of those cars would be lying if they say they can't give props to the G.. pound for pound, dollar for dollar.. it's a well made machine.
as for who is faster, of course a more expensive vehicle with quite a few more horsies will beat out the G, just like a G would take out those that have less HP than it.. get the exact same car w/ the exact same engine, mods, and other components.. those two race each other.. the winner has something to talk about.. he/she was the better DRIVER at that time.. but lets not brag about beating cars where all you really had to do was press down on that accelerator.
show a little tact, please. if you're gonna brag, brag about skill...
we all have pride for our own cars, but let's also have respect for the others' cars as well. like EdRedS said, it's about "class".. show a little.. let's not be like the honda forums where ppl rag on each other for every little thing... thanks.

Why do I need thick skin? I know there are faster cars out there regardless of whether they cost more or less....it's not what you said it's how you said it. If someone with a Porsche 911 TT or a 360 Modena came into a mercedes forum and said the same thing you did in the same way you think there wouldn't be the same reaction? The ppl in any forum are pround of their cars...you don't just go into a forum dedicated to a specific car and say that.

Everyone friends again? We all love our cars no matter how fast or what type they are, we spend alot of money and thought into them.
