Fuel Supplementing

Has anyone hotwired their fuel pump? I did this method with a plug and play harness on my Turbo Regal, it supplied for a more constant voltage to the fuel pump. This is a DIY version with parts you could get from any car parts store and radioshack.

Since I will be running a full exhaust system, I'd be likely be running into fueling needs due to lean conditions. I have been quandering about bringing in some oldschool tech into the G35 and may do a step-by-step pictoral writeup on the upgrade if I commit.
