Pop Charger Malfunction?

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I installed a pop charger and Z tube today. After installing them I forgot to reconnect the wiring harness to the piece that connects the Z tube to the pop charger. I got a malfunction message on my navigation. Surprisingly enough it was a VDC error which I thought had something to do with traction control. Anyway, I connected the harness but the error message still appears and the check engine light is on. Is there something I should look for? Could I have done damage to the car? Can I reset the check engine light and error message? If I do will the message come back if I really did screw something up? The car seems to run well, sounds great with the mods but I'm wondering if the deep throaty noise when I get above 4,000 rpms is the mod or something I should worry about (i.e. the engine not getting enough air).

I would appreciate any thoughts you may have.

When I was installing the Stillen Hi-Flow Airbox, there was a note per the install instructions. The note read, "Once the M.A.S. is disconnected do not start the vehicle, Check Engine light will go on and will need to be reset by a dealer." I do not know how true this is. However, as previously suggested . . . Perhaps a simple ECU reset will remedy your issue. Good luck!
