anyone heard of KG/MM springs?
im buying a set of springs and cusco sway set from a guy for 500$, the springs have been used about a month and the sways have never been installed, decided to just get springs for now vs coilovers, the KG/MM DR21 Supersport Springs are for the 350Z but should be fine for the G, they are progressive and supposedly have a ride pretty similar to stock with about a 1" drop, they can be bought at bulletproofperformance for about 300$ so I think 500$ for the springs and new cuscos is pretty good, anyway I wanted to know if anyone was familiar with them?

I can't say anything about the quality, all I can do I point out that their initial spring rate, just like the eibach's ment for the coupe are awfully soft.
(First number is the softet initial spring rate the next one is the higher final spring rate. Once the coilover bind on the spring, the higher rate takes over. Compair the final rate with the stock spring rates of, 347/419)
DR21 super sport 15mm drop
260/419 front 266/431 rear

Re: anyone heard of KG/MM springs?
i got kg/mm race springs on my s2000 and they are probably the best springs available for that car. next step up for those are probably getting coilovers.
i dunno if you should install springs meant for a 350 into a g35. are the weights of the car even the same? this plays a large role in how stiff the springs will be made.

G35 coupes and 350Z's use the same spring rates from the factory. And the rate difference between the sedan with sport and the coupe and Z isn't enough blink over. Frankly, a bigger issue is how serious someone is and if progressive springs are a match to your driving style and if you willing to make the progressive spring compromise on performance and ultimate handling. So in that respect your certainly correct in the next step being coilovers, that would take you away from the progressive bit. I'd never use progressive springs on a car I drive,........period. Certainly the factory (Nissan) knew better.
