First weekend of the month? Most people would like Plano area but we should try something mid-way for the other west members. Either way im down.

Good scenery for pics of the cars and its a good mid point for the Dallas and Ft Worth people.

This is the park I was thinking about...

Oak Grove Park

* From Northwest Highway in Grapevine take Dove Road north to Dove Loop, Dove Loop north to Oak Grove Park.
* Seven boat ramps with a total of 10 lanes; parking for 200 vehicles
* Boat launch fee required; annual pass available
* Open all year
* Operated by City of Grapevine (817) 410-3122



There are also pavillions all through the park that I am sure we could reserve one. They also have grills too (not too sure on how nice they are though)

If I remember right they have basketball courts too.

can we do it in the third week of jan by chance? I havn't been to a meet in a while and wouldnt be able to make this if it were in the beg. of jan.

 

+1 for that. like the 12th or the week after would be awesome b/c im giong to be in switzerland for new years til the 10th and will be back to school around that time
