Well I regestered for this I don't really know what to expect but I am looking forward to it. I had a couple of questions for people that have raced there G's before. I know that I will need a race brake fluid so should I get some better pads too? Also I have the hotchiks swaybars but other wise stock supsenion is there anything I need to worry about? Thanks Kirk

Do you have the OEM Brembo brakes? Suspension wise nothing to 'worry' about

It's at Motor Sport Ranch in Sept. 26 it with apex looks very cool. Also I don't have brembos it's a 06 sedan non sport. But I just did a few mods and it now sounds and feels better. I did JWT pop charger, 5/16 plenium spacer with iso thermal, megan racing y pipe and cat back, also ground wires which helped idle and shift quickness. Don't really know where to go next expect some better pads and tires which I have a set of 18's 7spoke from a coupe to be powdercoated. Also installing swaybars this weekend. Sorry so long . Kirk

Oh, so it's an Auto? I will let any folks who track their autos speak on the need for a tranny cooler. My guess is that you will be fine if this is your first time. I would say you need racing fluid and better brake pads, that can withstand higher temperatures if you have done this before.

Sorry yes auto.

So I have been researching brakes options and I don't know if I want to spend the money now for a big brake kit (BBK is the best from what I have read)or just by some nice Axxis ultra and some ss brake lines with some race fluid and call it a day. So any suggestions on what I should ffor track day also could I keep these pads on the car all the time not just for the track? Well thanks guys for your help. Kirk

Bump:

Please advise because I want to get these parts ordered also how important is a tranny cooler for my first track day in the G. I just want to know what to expect and be as prepared as possible with the right parts and frame of mind. Thanks for any advise. Kirk

If this is your first time you will most likely be ok with Axxis ultimates or any upgraded brake pads along with high quality brake fluid. You do not have to switch out the Axxiss Ultimates.

Thanks I was thinking that would be the case, ok how about tires I have a set of the coupe 18's that I bought and my car came with the 17's 7 spoke.
I was thinking of getting a set of Nitto NT05's in 245/40/18 F 255/40/18 R
what do you guys think? Another question is should I keep the 17's for track use that way I could keep the same size all around or is it better to go bigger with 18's even though there staggered. Thanks again everyone. Kirk

I'm signing up for the September even with The Drivers Edge @ MSR. Anyone car to join? I'm not 100% positive but I run in RED now so I can take passengers. Just a thought.
