The December event (6-7) will be the 1.7 mile course CLOCKWISE.

"Tell a friend we have a few spots available in the Green novice group and in the Yellow and Red advance groups."

Thanks!

Also...what system are you using for your data acquisition?
I have the TraqMate and ChaseCam setup in mine. Cant wait to put it all together.

I need to download my pics today too, and I will upload those.

MaxQData system (I'm more of an autocrosser than a road course guy, so the MaxQ works better for me).

Yes they were good comments, although I'm unsure of the color (maybe a touch monochromatic?)

Haha yeah Randy called me and told me the news that he bought the Z06 and is back in the scene! I told him that I thought you were supposed to be there last weekend, that's cool that you guys ran into each other!

Congrats on the upgrade to Yellow!

Here's a video from a prepped Viper:

Um... ya... only 10-15 mph faster than me around just about every corner. His best times are 9 seconds faster than mine.

I guess 2x the HP, 2.5 the cylinders and 4x the displacement really helps. Oh... an slicks too. That's good for at least 1/2 a second

ETA: Actually I reviewed this video (from the same driver):

He's only 3-7mph faster through most turns. He out accelerates me at every straight though (duh). I think I was braking TOO much (and didn't have the slicks grip advantage he had).

Makes me want to go back out there really badly!

I'm currently working on building up an '09 list. TDE is starting up as soon as January 8-) But I won't be going. I need to get some prep into the car but my home loan got denied so I'm sitting on a fat 20% downpayment thats just buring a hole in my pocket! I'm thinking racing seats and necessary equipment will hold me out for a while. Suggestions on seats?

Go to PST when you have a chance. They have their whole Seat lineup setup in the shop. I tried out a few and know which one will fit me. Just need to decide on when to do it. Im technically still under warrantee, so I wont do it for a while.
One note...make sure the harness ports are high enough for you (usually about shoulder height). Some of the new seats made them too low and in a wreck would compress your spine.

And on the note above about the Viper...yeah...I wish I had 50-100 more hp and race slicks. HAHA... Im actually trying to look into what it would take for me to get a setup of slicks. I need to upgrade my A-arms to get the negative camber needed for slicks.

Damn this hobby is expensive! But i love it!!!

(yes i like the mono-chrome look...i have this wierd love of silver...the past 5 cars ive had are silver...go figure)

Great pictures! Did you video in the car? I like watching other drivers to see the difference in lines.
