I'm in Denton now Mike lol

Should I wait until I finish the break in period before I put my mods back on?

for those who has my economy map... can you guys test it and make sure you can get your car to the proper cruising speed? I tested it on my titan and it took me 45secs to accelerate from 0-60mph. Definately not good if i try to pass someone... I may not have enough throttle to maintain 70mph. eventhough the G is much lighter, i wanted to make sure it works properly.... let me know how it works...

putting your mods on shouldn't affect your break-in... at least keep the stock intake so it doesn't change maf reading and making it run lean...

I'm starting to wonder if the using a different ROM is why my cruise control is weird now, and I can't change maps. I read on the G37 forums about someone else having the same issue where my cruise light is on and the set light constantly flashes. In there one person said they needed to get the ECM replaced, so maybe I do need to go down to UpRev and have them get my ROM.

I'll give them a call tomorrow and hopefully they will know enough to have an idea as to what the problem is.

Soo... today was the first time I drove the car since bringing it home from the tune. I had the SES light come on I think this afternoon. Was driving in some heavy traffic kinda stop n go so no aggressive driving today but I didn't notice the actual moment it came on. The car feels really really good so I don't know what to think... One of my belts (the little one) is definitely in need of replacement, would that do it? I checked the oil (first thought) and it's good, as well as the other fluids.

I tried doing the ECU reset with the accelerator but that doesn't seem to work anymore (I have done a few times before)... so I have the neg battery terminal disconnected right now to reset.

Any ideas anyone? It could very well be a complete coincidence but I'm stumped.

Mike - my mods are.. mrev2, 5/16 iso thermal spacer, z-tube, pop charger, berk hfc, fast intentions exhaust is all that is relevant to the engine performance.

i suspect to see some check engine light... just need to know what to turn off so that it won't happen again.. I think it is most likely the secondary O2 sensor...

Bring it by and I'll fix it for you.

Steve,
I sent you an email regarding the UpRev stuff. I need to email them now since it doesn't seem the maps are changing with or without the light flashing.

good luck emailing uprev, just call them for best results. I posted on their forums and facebook and left a message on their voicemail and got no response. just keep calling until you get someone.

I did the ECU reset and drove around 6 miles just now and the check engine hasn't come back on. Runs really good still. I'll take it to work tomorrow and see. I think maybe because it was so hot and I had the AC going hard. We'll see what happens over the next few days. I'm totally busy day and night till Friday so we'll see by then. I'll let you know. Thanks!
