This is it the first of four races in 2005 for Florida Drifting Association (FDA) championship. First one will be held at Hialeah speedway on saturday Feb. 5th. Gates open at 10am and stay open till 10pm. Pre reg for the competition is $80 (includes driver and a helper) at the gate $100
car show reg is $35 and the spectators are $10.
There will be two different classes one for the Novice and one for the Advanced. Drivers will be limited to 40. so pre reg. early at http://www.fdadrift.com
Winner will get 10 points

third 6 points
fourth 4 points
fifth 2 points
sixth 1 point

my friend has a shop which tunes drift cars. he has a few of his crew going to the competition

 

The drift thing was tyte. Some guy actually drifted his brand new 350Z, he had just bought it literally right before he came to the event. The owner said he would buy him new tires if he would drift it. So he did about 4 times around, it was pretty tyte watching the 350 go sideways!

 

I didn't even know hialeah had a speedway.
