Roofrack Crossbars for 05 Sedan

Looking for a set of roofrack crossbars with or without a fairing for my 05 X.

I hate having to put my board across the backseat wrapped in a towel.

Let me know what you guys have.

If you never need to carry passengers in the back when you go to the hill then i would continue to put the board there. I do that except I have a soft padded bag for it.

I have a roof rack but i only use it for biking... Here is what you got to keep in mind about it:
- before putting it on, you need a clean surface... Not the easiest thing to have in the winter
- after you have it on, you want to take it off every few weeks because underneath the rubber feet grime starts to accumulate
- fuel economy and noise... the noise made the fairing a must for me

I got the cross bars used... While the fit kit i got new from ebay. Mine are from thule. I got a fairing because the noise without it was brutal.

Thanks. Not my first time with a roofrack.

Where did you find your crossbars used?

Got it.

They were from Kijiji. I just got the square ones. The aero ones would have been nicer.

I don't know how it is now, but in the summer I've seen tons of FS posts for them on Kijiji.

Yeah, I figured the summer would probably be better, but I thought it'd be worth a shot this time of the year too.

The square ones being just standard cross bars? What are the aero ones?
