Here is a link to our kit that we have:

I just received my kit. Thanks!

How are y'all installing the tuner? The kit came with plenty of extra items such as tie wraps and screws but I can't figure an obvious way to mount it without brackets.

Thanks!

Scott

Scott,

Send an e-mail over to Justin (at) EverythingG35 (dot) com and let me know if you have a coupe or sedan and the year of your car and I'll send you the installation instructions.

i too ended up with a lot of extra parts, but basically, my car is non-Bose, so there was no amp. i just used the thick spacer (double sided tape), stuck that on the bottom, placed it in between the three bolts (where the amp would have gone), and plugged in the harness. i routed the antenna wire within the later, up through a pre-existing hole (brake lamp), and onto the rear deck. the antenna install took the longest! hope that helps. i have some pics too.

My satellite radio is installed now as well.

I didn’t like the instructions for the coupe with Bose installed so I used the DYI from 6mt.net to assist in the install. The kit didn't come with the brackets he had but the way I did it was MUCH more simplistic.

I used two pieces of copper strap sometimes referred to as cheese strap. It is used to hold plumbing or ducting. Basically it comes in a roll and has two size holes, one for a screw and one for a nail. I cut the pieces to match up with a hole on each side of the tuner and was able to use the holes already drilled into the Bose mounting bracket.

Then I added either 1, 2, or 3 pieces of the 3M padding that came with our kit depending on where it was going to be placed on the Bose bracket (it is not the same height in all areas).

This holds it together really well. I feel this install is better than just taping it down to the trunk. I wanted something more firm to hold it in place.

I do have some pictures of what it looks like and I will upload them if anyone is interested.

Thank you Justin for the wonderful service, getting this product priced right, and delivered. You are the man!

Take care,

Scott

No worries, we'll run a special on something else cool. Any suggestions?

Got my Sirius kit a few days ago - stuck it to the bottom of the trunk with the two-sided foam tape and spacers. Works great and I love it! Thanks for the quick service and the good deal! Now how about a deal on OEM '06 bumpers for next month???
