With the Tuner and Antenna Kit you are selling, Satellite radio will install directly through the Bose Factory stereo right? No need for a seperate receiver or anything?

If so, I'll order right away!

as long as you're prewired (all cars '04 and up, and you gotta look at their website for VIN #'s on '03's), then you're alright. just plug and play!

Before purchasing please check & see if you are pre-wired for this unit, for 2003 the VIN rages are as follows, (these go by the last 6 digits of your VIN):
Sedan VIN: 321894 & higher
Coupe VIN: 210827 & higher
All 2004 and later cars are pre-wired from the factory.

It is the peice that goes over the top of the backglass to cover the antenna wire (if you are doing a roof mount antenna...)

I think it's actually the piece that covers the wire inside the trunk. My kit (which came from everythingg35.com and is XM) had an integral cable cover built right into the micro antenna. I believe the instructions at everythingg35.com show this clearly. I didn't get the 'extra' cover and have mounted my antenna on the inside of my sedan, just on the rear deck behind the rear passenger side headrest.

One other thing to note, my 05 sedan did not come pre-wired and I ended up ordering the N-bus cable after discovering this. Everything works like a charm and I highly recomend everythingg35.com as they were very helpful in getting my system to work, even though we had no idea if it would. EDIT = forgot to note that my G sedan is Canadian - I hear the Canadian 05 coupe is pre-wired /EDIT

You can see my original post about the install here

Thanks alot for the VIN verification jtesensky, mine is an 03 coupe but a later VIn than 210827 so I should be all set to go. Now I just have to decide on XM or Sirius!

Great License plate too!!

This is a good deal, quick question, I'm thinking about upgrading to a double din setup with an Eclipse AVN5435, will this antenna and tuner be compatible? I would be getting the Sirius.

I believe the antenna would be ok, but I'm pretty sure the tuner would not work with the Eclipse.

I'm not positive here, so it's best to talk to your Eclipse dealer. I'm just basing it on the fact that Eclipse would probably use a proprietary cable for the connection, just as Infiniti does with the N-bus.

I know my former car had the Alpine unit with XM and it used an Alpine specific cable.
