Would like to see one of the sponsors do a group buy on at least the receiver for less than 199.00

Just ordered my Sirius kit. I noticed that people with coupes have mounted the antenna on the rear shelf inside the car, but has anyone with a sedan done this?

I just did mine on my Sedan. I routed the wire from the box up the back of the seat and between the seat cusion and rear deck to the antenna. I velcroed the atenna to the rear shelf. Works like a charm.

I'm not sure what the picture of is Joe but if its on infiniti-parts I am sure the correct one will arrive on the doorstep. $250 is decent I guess but not even close to the 168.00. I think 200.00 is the magic number for it to be a true deal.

Sirius Just Displays 'Acquiring'

I had my Sirius installed professionally with the antenna on the roof. I love it, however oftentimes I will be listening to it, then park the car and turn off the ignition. When I get back in and continue driving, sometimes it will display “acquiring”, and stay that way. Even after an hour of driving on roads and highways where I have never had a problem before, the signal will never come in. I live in the San Francisco Bay area so it’s not like I live in some outback or anything. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I am having similiar issues with my XM tuner. I emailed Justin and he states it sounds like the tuner may have failed. He also said that the unit is under factory warranty for 12 months/12K miles and that the dealer should take care of it.

I'm experiencing issues such as lot's of static, sometimes the unit resets back to station 001 when I start the car, head unit just shows LOADING, and frequent signal loss. Mine was working fine as well then the issues popped up.

Keep us informed if you have any work done. I have not taken it to the dealer yet.
