Thanks for all your help guys. I went to Auto Zone and bought the TORX bit. Now I just have to wait for the steering wheel to come in so I can take out the Nissan airbag module. When I have it installed, I'll revive this thread to post pics.

So I finally got my "Nissan" Skyline 350gt steering wheel, and I think I know what you're talking about now. See the pics below with the green arrows. I think those are the tabs that have to be popped out, so the airbag cover plate can be removed. But I'm hoping I don't expose the airbag to mess it up. Anybody have inputs/knowledge/2 cents, on how to pop the tabs or do this install?
Thanks.
Hey this could be in the DIY when I'm finished
yeah the wires are totally different from the japan's airbag
the one that " G " posted only has a yellow plug for the airbag wire
for us the the infiniti airbag has 2 wires, one in a orange plug
and the other in a yellow plug!

I can't post in the DIY forum for some reason, so I'm gonna go ahead and do it here.

I don't know your level of handiness, but after doing this DIY, I feel pretty confident that my airbag will deploy when I need it. And I've never done anything like this. It took a total of 1 hour 30 minutes, because I took everything real slow. I think next time, it should take me about 30 to 45 minutes. Over all, I would say this was an easy install. Equivelant to installing a "Z tube".
If you ever need clarification on a step, feel free to PM me. I'm very happy with the outcome. Now I don't have that big Mt. Fuji staring me in the face.
There's a lot of pictures, so enjoy and good luck. Oh yeah, thanks Tony.
