Sedan LSD available
According to freshalloy G35 forum :
<a href="

>here</a>
LSD is available for sale from <a href="http://www.kaazusa.com/index.html">http://www.kaazusa.com/index.html</a>
This is one of those must have mod for us sedan owner. Will this void / or give dealer reason to void our warranty, at least the drive train part?

Re: Sedan LSD available
Here the lowest price you will find anywhere for the Kaaz. $731
http://store.yahoo.com/phase2motorsports/nismosmod.html
Don't be fooled that it only lists the 350Z, it's the same part.
I've been researching the whole add a LSD to the sedan thing for some time. A word to the wise. When you go to install it in a car that does not already have the factory LSD, your shop will get a unwelcome surprise unless you give them this heads up. If you don't they'll rack up more labor charges trying to figure this out. They will need 2 of the following:
(Nissan part numbers btw)
Oil Seal: (38342-P9010)
Differential Bearing: (38440-0C000)
The Oil Seal is $6.37 per, and the Bearing is $47.15 per.
Most shops will charge about $400 to install it. And another important word to the wise that I discovered in sports compact car magizine. The diff comes shipped in a 100% locking configuration. DO NOT INSTALL IT THAT WAY! , have the shop swap the plates around to reduce the locking rate. 60% would be ideal. If you don't do this the rear wheels will try so hard to go the same speed that steering feel goes to hell, turn-in is ruinedm and the only smoot way around a corner is with both tire spinning. With 600hp and racing slicks, this might be a good setting, but not with street tires.
A special thank you for a member at my350z.com for providing the info on installing his Kaaz in a base none LSD equipped 350Z. His member name is Daytona. He was kind enough to dig up his install invoice to get me those part numbers.

Ok, I finally got the stock viscious limited slip swap installed in my 6mt sedan yesterday. The shop and I discovered that the swap requires more than just bearings and seals from the LSD equipped diff case. And this needs to be added my my post in the FAQ section. It also requires the purchase of 2 stub spline axles that the drive axles mount to and are inserted into the diff case. The are totally different than the non LSD parts. They are part numbers 38220-AR011 and 38220-AR010. They sell for $148 each. The cost for all the labor, bearings and seals was $500, + the $300 for the required spline axles. Here's a pic of what they look like. I edited a pic posted by Jeff at performance Nissan
Had I known that this swap was going to cost me a extra $300, I would not have done it, thank god I got the stock viscous slip unit for next to nothing (DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $200 for one). Especially since it looks like the $900 Nismo clutch type LSD comes with the required stub axles as part of the purchase price, along with the bearings and seals.
