Anything to do in Tampa?

I'll be down there starting this Saturday till next Wednesday. Will be staying at my in-law relative's house in the new Tampa area just east of I-75.

So far on the list I have Busch Gardens, Clearwater Beach, and a partial day drive down to St. Petersburg. Is there anything else I should add on things/places to go and do? I don't plan on going to Hard Rock casino since I've been there before and it's really a big disappointment compared to the NJ/Las Vegas casinos. I've heard nice things about Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater. Is it a good place to check out for aftermarket parts (performance, appearance, etc.)?

I go to Crabby Bills every once and while to play volleyball, the food is not the best IMO but still a fun place.

If you are looking for touristy stuff, check out MOSI over by USF. Then there is also Channelside and Ybor..if you dare. We also have a fine selection of strip clubs you may want to check out.

Well you could go to ybor, on thurs/fri/sat theres good night life there.. clubs bars..
theres old hyde park that has all the upscale rich people.. like hyde park cafe.. you'll see bentley cont gt's ands tuff outside of there..

new tampa is nice =) tampa palms! but not much to do out there imo. I'd defintaly hit up the bars and such..

oh ya theres also this thing called mons venus

and i would go to BG during the week, weekend it's bound to be a mad house, im not sure how late BG is open now, usually summers it open till like 11 pm? so if its open at night i'd go at night.. its not as hot and not as crowded.

Ybor (7th Ave.) or Channelside will give you the most variety in one palce as far as nightlife. I live in New Tampa and it's nice but not much to do in the immediate area. Bush Gardens is cool if you haven't been before or if it's been a while.

Ahhh Brickyard.. those were the days ; ]

You should go jetskiing when you get to Clearwater Beach, I beleive it is about $65/hr good scenery and you are able to go where you please. Shepards is a good place to check out, always a wet t contest on Sundays. Try and wait to do Busch Gardens until Monday or Tuesday, you will be able to do everything in about 4 hours and no crowds. Take a drive over the Sky Way bridge (S. St. pete) and head towards Ellenton, some good outlet stores if you get bored.

o and if you plan to go "out" hit up Channelside Drive (South Tampa) and yes stay away from Ybor City after 7pm.

yah ybor has 18 yr olds ands tuff.. hyde park cafe is the ****! if u go jetskiiing go to medeira beach theres this place on the docvks.. i forget the name but theres a string of waverunner rentals and they let u just go out to the beach area and dont watch u.. if u knw them well enough they give u the powerful key.. apparently when they rent u get a "rental less HP" key.. but its the **** cause u can take them out and go wherever u want and they dont watch u cause its in a little bay area and u have to go under a bridge to go out to the beach area.. its like 85/hr for the most powerful.. i go with the 75/hr ones that are like.. yamaha ones that are yellow seaters i forget what they were called its been awhile
