G37 at Orlando Infiniti
G37 at Orlando Infiniti
Brought my car in to get the driver seat ripping TSB performed and apparently the dealership got broken into the night before so it was taking a while to get my loaner (which I had to come back for). Anyways, I took the time to walk around the dealership and at the front left of the dealership surrounded by a bunch of red curtains is the new G37. It looked like someone tried to break into that area as well as the red curtains were falling down. It said sample on the window and it was much nicer then any picture I had seen. Up until now I had all but ruled out the G37 as my next car, but now it is back towards the top of the list with the 135. Anyways just thought I would let those of you in the Orlando area know if you wanted to stop by and take a look at it.

I was there for service on Saturday and my consultant snuck me over to see it. He didn't mention an unveiling but said it's appointment-only to test drive. The interior is almost identical to mine so I loved that but I'm not sold on the exterior. Course, I just made my second car payment so I won't be sold on anything for a long time. lol!
I called the dealer to see if they're doing an unveiling event similar to the one at Coconut Creek and Jax but they said there's no such event planned as of yet.

Some more pics!!
One side by side picture with my 2005 sedan and it's hard to tell from the picture but the g37 coupe looks lifted compared to my 1 inch lowered sedan!
The car drove and handled great, but really didn't notice any true seat of the pants torque that was impressive. On a side not, the torque in the BMW 335i twin turbo is amazing and made me grin ear to ear.
The exhaust sounds sweet!!
IMHO, driving on I-4 with the sunroof open was unbearable. Really load but I am 6.6 and my head was 1.5 inches from the roof. (yes, I measured and the seat was set to the lowest setting).
Overall my impressions are good but I'll wait before I decide to get one. Still want to see some aftermarket accessories but again IMHO, the car needs to be lowered and something done with the front bumper. This car was about $45,000 (journey AT, sport package, premium package, techno package, navi, performance tire package, wheel locks, cargo net )
