Anyone with experience in replacing door lock actuator?
Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while but I'm having trouble with both my door lock actuators in my '04 G35 Couple. Got quoted at around $425 EACH to fix from Sawgrass Infiniti and said peace out!! Passenger side doesn't work at all and drivers side is going as well but at least it works. I'm pretty handy working on cars and think I could get this done myself but I'm a little scared and unsure of how to take out the window
anyone done this around the Ft. Lauderdale area or willing to make some extra $$$ in this struggling economy
?? Let me know!!!

I just changed mine out about a month ago. The only thing that was kind of a pain was putting the window back on to the track and getting everything lined back up right. It's definitely a LOT easier if you have an extra set of hands. Other than that just be careful taking off the key hole covers because I broke off the little clips that keep it in place and it was $32 for a new one.

ya i did see that $5 fix, but i'd rather just do it right so i don't have to worry about it. i've worked on cars a lot before so i'm not really unexperienced, just skeptic to do anything with the window :\

oh also if I remember correctly, you'll need a torq bit screwdriver (i think that's what they are called) don't remember what size though. Also if you have one that's magnetic that will also make it easier.
