I would think it could get it soft enough with a hair drier to pull off. If not try a tint shop, pretty sure they will remove it for you.

+1

Let your car sit out in the sun with the sun on your headlights and then try a hair dryer or heat gun... Remember, the headlights are plastic, not glass... Don't use any kind of a scraper...

Once you get a corner up, I'd use some Goo Gone to help loosen them up.

I would not use a heat gun. they get too hot and could cloud or melt the plastic, and ruin paint or rubber surrounds.

Good point...

I was thinking it would be OK if you were careful... but, it might be better to be safe than sorry.

I used a hair dryer.... I just loosed up an edge and pulled it off .. All the adhesive came off...it left a little residue... But goo gone took care of that. Thanx for all the suggestions guys!

I just used a Conair heat hair dryer on the HIGH setting. the trick is to heat an area about 4" X 4". I used a wood slat from a door, about 1-/4" wide X l/8" thick, I sanded a chisel edge on it so that it does not dig into the plastic...it did a marvelous job. the headlites look brand new...
I am now thinking of taking off the BRA from the hood. has anybody tryed that? I am worried that the heat will soften the paint making it easy to dig into. My bra now has hundreds of black marks in it and is very ugly.
