Car will be paid off soon! Now what? save or upgrade?

Alright so right now, i am pretty happy with how my car looks/performs. I dont know if i want to keep throwing money into it... although i probably will eventually. I only owe about $3000 now (from the 10K i started with) and im not too sure what i should do. I could keep the car, keep saving up some cash and modify it a little bit along the way until i want another car...(or just keep cash in the bank) or i could upgrade to a g37/370z or maybe even another car, and keep the same $240 a month payment. What do you guys think? hmmmm....

I just paid mine off last month (25K in 20 months). I'm saving for an 2000-2003 tacoma or similar truck to have some utility. The G is my DD.

Honestly, if you like your car then keep it and mod it + save ( maybe 50/50 ). I want a Cadillac CTS-V ( I drool every time I see one and they are affordable now...under $25K for an 04-05 ) but then I think about my car and think that I only owe $9K and it treats me well plus I enjoy driving it...I'll keep my car.

I'd say, keep the car. Save some and spend some. Don't just do one or the other. I paid off my last car very quickly, sold it, and bought this stupid black car I drive now...

im like the last person to say this, but id save up. im not saying keep the g forever but at least enough a year or so of no payments. you'll be loving all the extra $ around then you can decide.

its hard getting rid of something that you spent time building into something you want. if i hadnt wrecked my 35, i probably would not have upgraded for a while. now dont get me wrong, brand new is always dope but you have to start all over.
