lol.. yeah looks like theres alot of holes for drilled and theyre gold..

but to be honest imo ..unless your going bbk..
the slotted should do the trick ..

unless youl be racing all the time..
then go with the 4000 series or even 5000 series ..
my slotted's are street series ..

look at their site for differences .. in the three series ..

i needed to replace my rears ...they were all kinds of effed up ..
and the front rotors werent much better .
so the upgrade was well worth it ..

thats why i went with d.b.a's ..

i want something mainly for the looks. i dont like having giant gaps in my wheels and showing off a dull rusty rotor... i could get my rotors cut for $5 a piece and be done with it but they dont look good behind the rim.

I think the drilled&slotted look really good back there... so i really dont care about "Racing" or any performance stuff, i just want to make sure it matches the stopping power of my OEM.

dba + hawk is a nice setup. still dont see the point of getting something flashy with stock calipers but up to you.

Hey about painting your calipers I think it a good idea, I did it to mine and I think it turned out great.

They don’t stand out and take away from the rest of the car it just ads a nice little touch to the car and looks way better than the slowly starting to rust look.

In the near future I am also going to get drilled and slotted rotors
"Once my current pads wear out, probably next year"

I chose black but I was real close to going with silver

Thanks man. That helps alot! How did you paint your calipers? That G2 paint or a spray can? How many coats, and did you use any clearcoat?

Yep no problem, I figured it might because our cars are a lot alike

I used the duplicolor brush on caliper paint kit

I did two coats

I have used the duplicolor kit on several different cars and they all still look great

The paint is very durable

I originally planed to clear coat it but after painting one and looking at how it turned out I decided not to

Because sometimes if you put a clear coat on you can actually weaken the paint underneath it causing it to chip off over time

Nope

http://www.xenonmods.com/newallcaliperdecals.htm

You will see them about halfway down the page

It will say this:

Infiniti Brake Caliper Decals (Stickers)
6 - Text and 6 - Logo
set of 12 - $7.99

and you have a bunch of colors to chose from
