Help picking out some rotors & pads..

I need new pads so im considering getting rotors also..

right now, im looking at HAWK HPS ceramic from import DPS, they appear to be $59 for a set of 4? thats what the webiste says, but i PMd them so we will see what they say.

Just incase thats wrong, what are my other options for a good all around pads for daily driving?

rotor wise, are there any rotors that arent insanely expensive but will look nice behind my rims? I was thinking the drilled and slotted from irotors but veronica suggested just getting slotted. what do you guys suggest?

Bought hawks from a vendor on here. Front and rear for 109 I think. Sent payment and posted in thread then 2 weeks later had to post in thread to find out the pads were on back order and the computers were being updated or some bs. Was offered refund with no reply they send me a tracking number the next day. They also jerked Dan around when he ordered his brake upgrade package

A lot of people are freaked out by drilled rotors from crackage. Of course, I have no experience, there. When I get around to it, I wanna "upgrade" to Centric blanks and Hawk HPS.

Since you have the nice 20" 5 spokes, go with Stop-Tech slotted or drilled. They're good quality I hear! Made by Centric, I believe. My stockers wouldn't show off fancy shmancy rotors like your rims.

4x4 GO!

hawk hps or project mu ns pads with some slotted oem replacements would be a good upgrade. lots of decent companies make rotors like r1 or centrics.

Nothing is wrong with my rotors. It's just, I have a giant gap inbetween the spokes of my rim and there's nothing nice being shown back there, so I want something nicer looking than stock brakes

Get the slotted Centric rotors from r1concepts and PBR/Axxis Deluxe brake pads. Call Sam at R1 and tell him I snet you and he may be able to give you a better deal than online. I have r1 rotors on both Gs and Deluxe pads on my sedan.

I have cross-drilled and slotted rotors ordered from R1 Concepts for a year now on my sedan, and after 11K miles they've held up and look great. I also have Hawk HPS street pads which have over 23K miles on them, and there's about 50% life left on them. Low dust and excellent brake feel.

Are they the e line or premium ones? The e-line are cheap in price and are exactly what I want...

I did cross drilled and slotted Rotora rotors on my G35 with the Hawk pads and was very happy with that set up. Next time I will do just slotted and not drilled though.

The Rotora rotors are likely Centric blanks too.

Get the Premium. Call Sam to see if he can give you a deal. Whatever rotors you get, paint the hat and the brake pad surface near the hat with high temp black paint to protect against rust.
