The funny thing is i actually did call you guys and i believe it was Sarah i spoke to in service. She gave me a rough price quote i was like DAYUM thats expensive plus no loaner since im under 21 i do need to get my recall taken care of but i dont know when i can do it since i cant get a loaner car. I spoke to the guys over at Carisma he told me hel just charge me the lift fee of 50 bucks if it doesnt take him long but if it does then it will be more. I actually sprayed it with PB last night and havent tried it since i was debating on crawling under the car tonight and trying it but havent decided yet. If i cant get it im just going to pay someone to do it which blows cause that makes my $500 exhaust and makes it almost a $700 exhaust.

 

i know its a bit late but a good tip for removing the hangers is using a flat tip screwdriver to lift the rubber over the hanger tips.

 

I see.... the one i had the problem with the most is the 1 on the driver side of the car on the exhaust can being i did the other 2 first i had to do this one while holding it up and there wasnt much room for me to get my hands or the wd40 in there this is def a learning exp.

Tip to anyone else whos going to do their exhaust and runs into this thread do that side first and have a jack ready or something that will hold the exhaust!

Well il see how it goes tonight for the Y-pipe again and if i cant get it off tonight then im giving up and paying someone.

 

Well to update you guys im going to have to wait till tech day i broke the ramps i just got this week tonight glad i didnt blow a shock or id be pretty upset well see you guys over at nightmare's house.

 

Well guys i got the exhaust on at the tech day! I think i have it broken in by now and my 1st impressions is one, it sounds DAM SWEET! Its like an angry pur when you step on it is the best way i can describe it and its not to loud but not to quiet either. Second now im not sure if this is true or not but, i noticed that the shifts seem to be a bit quicker....generally when i drive my car i drive it in manumatic mode and drive it like a stick (getting off the throttle in between gear changes) unless im racing then its full throttle all the time. Ive seem to notice that the time in between gear changes is shorter now which is good either that or my technique got better. Also finally i did notice an increase in torque from my old setup 1 im sure is because i have more back pressure but it feels more then stock if i recall correctly. Now my next performance mod im between the transgo kit i think its called for the torque converter or a JWT pop charger/ ztube combo. Now in the long run id like to also upgrade the manifold itself and originally i was looking at the cosworth plenum but i recently came across this http://www.speedforceracing.com/inde...productID=1030 now has anyone seen these on a NA setup with the dual throttle bodies? Also im curious would i be better off going cosworth or this one?

Yea i got mine off ebay sorry for the late response i didnt get an email saying someone replied so i havent looked on here in a while i got it for 475 shipped to me. Was missing a Gasket but all in all everything was fine. I got vids of the exhaust just been lazy to upload and link em to here.

 

Heres a before video of me at the track when i was running open cats at the 1/8th mile

The car i ran against in the vid is a suzuki samurai with a 13B in it i also went up against a 240sx with a RB20 in it and i took that by 1.5 car lengths. My boy with a 240 got an SR20 hes running about 400hp and he smoked me. BTW the flashing lights on my side means that i won :P

Lol you have alot of heart running down powers at the time of night. Cops are forever swarming there. If I ever have to drive there in the night they always follow me and run my plates and i see them doing it. Then they will just turn off and go about their ways. Come over one day and we will do a proper video for the exhaust. Your phone aint cuttin it bud :-P
