Florida G Club Reorganization
^that would be awesome. i had a friend that was going to do it for us a while back but we never agreed to it.
also if anyone is good with graphic design - a new logo for shirts and stickers would be great.
as far as positions, im not looking to kick anyone out. i agree that adding some of you more active guys might help kick start things though. looking at you guys chris, ricky and ash - you do a great job organizing meets in your area and i think thats a big step.

I don't want to be burned at the stake for this one....... but you guys realize I'm not even an official paying member right?
I started posting in the useless thread at Veronica's invitation.
However coming to various events, meeting you guys in person, and the various shenanigans, I've grown to like the FGC.
I'm not entirely clear on how the club is chartered, etc...
I know in some clubs, members in certain positions are exempted from dues, or discounted because of the services they provide to the club.
If that's the case with the FGC, I'm certainly willing and quite able to provide some graphics design and technical services, as I've owned and operated a graphics/web design business for several years now.
I've also had a pretty good bit of experience with the setup and administration of a forum using the SMF software on NFSPMotorsports.
I also agree that Lyndon is well suited to an executive position.

Honestly no one is a paying member these days and that is part of the problem. At the same thime there has not been much of a benefit for paying lately. Having said that, not sure how a vote would work since there really are no members

Lenox- Work on the design for the Florida G Club
Ashley- Could you redo the Club site? Looks pretty outdated.
As far as Ian I dont see there being a problem him still being Treasurer and having control of the club account.
I think we need to start fresh on member dues, no one is a member until membership is paid. Like Chad said he can get good deals and from local vendors, we can start rolling in new shirts and stickers. What was the original price of becoming a member"?

I think what would help would be pulling down the cost a bit and offering better perks.
And yes, I know that's not easy... obviously.
Perhaps the FGC could work out a special deal with IB on premiere memberships bought by the club, then roll that into FGC membership.
Paying members would get a premiere membership along with their club membership, as well as a t-shirt or something. And not the first year, I mean continuously.
Then add something as incentive to remain a member, like a 5 year jacket or something similar.
Another thing that worked out nicely for NFSPMotorsports was getting a paypal account for the club and adding "paypal buttons" for a subscription.
Over there, even though I'm one of the Admins and a founding member, I still pay dues, but I have it setup to just automatically bill my paypal every 3 months, but we also have options for yearly, bi-yearly, quarterly, and monthly.
That makes it nice for the members because with yearly dues broken up over each month, it doesn't take a bite out of their wallet, and it's one of those set-it-and-forget-it kinda things.
Holy GOD
Yeah, I haven't been to the "official site" in a loooong time. That junk look hurt!

Yes Harvey, I can redo the design, but I have to work it into my schedule along and along as I can. I wouldn't mind having input from Lenox as well.
